Creative Events
Art exhibitions, hands-on workshops, craft markets, and photography walks. Creative outings with a support worker who shares your interests.
What are creative events?
Creative events are about getting out and making things, seeing things, and being part of Melbourne's art and maker scene. Gallery openings at NGV, pottery workshops in Collingwood, weekend craft markets along the Yarra, photography walks through laneways.
Your support worker is matched to your creative interests. If you're into watercolours, they know their way around a palette. If you love street art, they know the best spots. Being around someone who cares about creative work makes the outing better.
These experiences can be a morning at a gallery, a full-day workshop, or an overnight creative retreat. We shape each one around what inspires you.

We learn what inspires you
Tell us about your creative interests: which mediums you enjoy, what kind of art you're drawn to, and whether you prefer making or observing. We use that to plan your outings.
We match you with someone who gets it
Your support worker shares your creative interests. They're someone who can talk about technique, appreciate a good exhibition, or pick up a brush alongside you.
We handle the details
We sort transport, bookings, materials and timing ahead of time.
You create and explore
You might be wandering a gallery, throwing clay or photographing laneways. Your support worker is there for all of it and takes an interest in what you're doing.
We build on what works
After each experience, we check in on what you enjoyed, what you'd try next and how the pace felt, then use that to plan the next one.
Experience options
Half-day, full-day, or overnight. Interest-matched support workers. Transport arranged. NDIS Core Supports funding.

What a gallery visit, workshop or market outing costs, who it's for, and how to get your first one booked in.
What it costs
Pricing follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. The amount depends on the type of support and whether the exhibition, workshop or market outing falls on a weekday, evening, weekend or overnight. If you don't have a relevant plan category, you can pay fee-for-service. Cost is always confirmed with you in writing before the experience starts.
Am I eligible?
If you're an NDIS participant wanting support to visit galleries, join a hands-on workshop, browse craft markets or head out on a photography walk, this is for you. Suits a single outing to an exhibition or a regular arrangement for ongoing creative sessions.
Where we work
We're based in Thomastown and cover galleries, studios and markets across Greater Melbourne, including the northern, western and eastern suburbs. Regional Victoria is available for many creative retreats and overnight workshops.
